The future can be scary. It is a mysterious force that seems to be hiding behind our backs. We sometimes treat it as something good, but sometimes, we can fear it. This cycle will keep repeating everywhere we go.
Speaking of the future. One thing the Filipinos are scared of is the future of its students. They fear that if the way the schools around the country doesn’t change the way they teach as soon as possible, they will grow weary and pursue other things that can either ruin their lives and keep them miserable or ruin the nations reputation.
Thing is, we can easily combat this fear in many ways that we have never done effectively. These ways include sympathizing with each other and knowing each other’s needs and wants. It is time that we open our eyes to the true goals.
First things first, we can recognize the passions of the students. We can help them choose the things they want to do in life instead of forcing them to adapt to old school situations that are extremely outdated. With this, we can help them know themselves and live a better life.
Another thing we can do is to give the students something that brings them happiness in life. Even if you are a teacher, a classmate, or a relative of said child, we can let him shine by giving him the best life. We only live once, so we only have one opportunity to live a good life.
It doesn’t end there. We can also talk to the teachers about the students’ current situation in life. Most of the kids’ struggles usually come from people that don’t recognize their efforts and secrets, so to help them have better relationships with the teachers. It is easy to connect the wires of each of them, so that we can create the energy know as progress.
The last thing we can do is to let them see the world. Nowadays, students stay in one place, thinking that it is the only way to satisfy themselves. In reality happiness is abundant everywhere, and with staying on only the comfort zone, we are not able to catch up and reach our peaks.
We usually perceive the future as dangerous, but now that we are fully aware of how to change our views, we can now continue to progress alongside achieving other goals. We have stayed in a panic state for so long that we have forgotten that there is much more to life than fear. It is all hidden outside our hiding spots.
This proves that the future that we Filipinos are scared about might not even be true. Everything might look hopeless, but in reality there is treasure right under the abyss. Truth to be told, there is more to life than fear. We can live our life afloat above the sky, or ahead of the time.
